Labs

As part of this course, Friday labs will be used to build skills and familiarity with digital tools for creative media making. Lab’s take place in two sessions on Friday morning. You get to choose if you’d like to take a Visual Lab or a Sound Lab. You’re also welcome to take both.

Sept 9th	Remote Class; Reviewing Project Proposals	Visual Composition II: Intro to Photography and capture; shooting stills with DSLR
Sept 16th	Recording skills / Logic interface	Visual Composition III: Animated Images; Making gifs in Photoshop

Sept 23rd	Basic Composition Techniques / Logic	Editing Video I: downloading and converting video; exporting for Premiere w/ Mpeg Streamclip
Sept 30th	Remote Class	Editing Video II: Premiere interface, setting scratch disks, cutting, fading, saving
Oct 7th	No lab; Work Session.	No lab; Work Session.

Module 3

Module 5

In module 5, labs will be matched to final project proposals.
